Carrot Tower Defense Trading Guide

Everything about the Update 2 player trading system — requirements, safety tips, and what you can exchange.

Last checked: July 2026

Update 2 added official player trading to Carrot Tower Defense — one of the most requested social features since launch. You can now exchange bunny units with other players through a lobby trade board instead of relying only on the summon burrow. This guide explains how trading works, what to watch for, and how trading fits alongside summons and quests.

How to Open the Trade Board

From the Carrot TD lobby, locate the Trade board added in Update 2. Interact with it to open the trading interface where you propose or accept unit swaps with nearby players. The exact UI may shift during BETA — verify labels on the live game after each patch via latest update notes.

What Can You Trade?

Trading centers on bunny tower units in your collection — including commons like Builder Rabbit and Timber Bunny, and ultra-rares like Goo Rabbit or Ninja Rabbit when the system permits. Trading does not replace the summon burrow; it gives duplicate holders and collectors a direct exchange path. In-match carrots, vault rewards, and Roblox premium gems remain separate progression currencies.

Trading vs. Summoning

  • Summon — Spend carrots for RNG pulls; only way to unlock units during off-rotation windows.
  • Trade — Target specific units if another player offers them; no carrot cost, but requires a willing partner.
  • Quests — Bernard's cave missions may reward units or lore progress — see quests guide.

Chasing Ninja Rabbit at 0.1% summon rate makes trading attractive for collectors who missed rotation. Compare value using the tier list before accepting unfair offers.

Safety Tips — Avoid Scams

  • Use only the official in-game trade confirmation — never "trust trade" outside the UI.
  • Read both sides of the offer before accepting; mis-clicks are permanent.
  • Do not follow links promising free Ninja Rabbit or gem generators — see script risks.
  • Report suspicious duping or exploit trading through Roblox report tools and official Discord.

Developer Notes on Duping

Developers acknowledged trading as a major feature and hoped to avoid duplication exploits. If the economy shows abnormal unit inflation, Crumbling Crunchy Games may patch trade restrictions — monitor official Discord for hotfixes.

Best Units to Trade For

S-tier targets: Goo Rabbit (slow/AoE), Ninja Rabbit (piercing DPS), Carrot Magician. Update 2 additions: Builder Rabbit and Timber Bunny are easier to obtain but help Hard mode rosters. Pair traded units with Farmer Bunny economy for Extreme attempts.
