Deep Tunnels — Carrot Tower Defense Map Guide
Underground layout, vault location, tower placement, and farming tips for Deep Tunnels in Carrot TD.
Last checked: June 2026
Deep Tunnels is the signature underground map in Carrot Tower Defense and the only place to find Mr. Jenkins' vault. Twisting corridors create long sight lines for snipers, tight bends for slows, and a hidden terminal where vault code 1416 grants bonus carrots and a badge. Whether you are farming wins toward vault access, clearing Extreme Mode for 500 carrots, or sniping Munchers before a Gloster wave, Deep Tunnels rewards players who understand its path flow. This guide covers layout logic, vault location, recommended units, and common mistakes on Roblox Carrot TD.
Deep Tunnels Path Layout
The nibbler path enters from one tunnel mouth and snakes through underground segments before reaching your carrot base. Compared to Woodlands, Deep Tunnels offers more straight segments and fewer overlapping bends — geometry that favors single-target and piercing towers over pure AoE. Early waves travel a shorter initial segment; mid-game routing adds length as side tunnels merge, giving upgraded towers more time on target.
Identify three zones when placing towers: the entry zone (first bend after spawn), the mid tunnel (longest straight), and the final approach (last bend before base). Entry zone handles Cheeky Wheelers and Snatchers from the special enemies roster. Mid tunnel burns Munchers and bosses. Final approach catches leaks that survived weak front-line coverage — never leave it empty on Extreme Mode.
Mr. Jenkins Vault Location
The vault is a secret room on Deep Tunnels — not available on Woodlands or other maps. After earning at least five wins across any matches, you can access the vault terminal and enter code 1416. The terminal sits in a hidden area off the main tunnel route; explore side passages in the lobby map view or follow community markers from our Jenkins Vault walkthrough.
Vault code 1416 is an in-game puzzle solution, not a Roblox promo code. It only works on the Deep Tunnels terminal after the win requirement — see vault codes and vault unlock guide for verification steps. Rewards include free carrots and a badge; exact amounts may change with patches noted on latest update.
Vault Farming Route
Farm normal-difficulty wins on Deep Tunnels with a reliable early team from early game builds: Farmer Bunny by wave 3–5, Bonker Bunny on entry bend, Sniper Bunny on mid straight. Wins count globally — you do not need five consecutive Deep Tunnels clears, but you must be on this map to interact with the vault once eligible. After unlocking, repeat visits still pay carrot bonuses for new players working toward summons.
Best Units for Deep Tunnels
Deep Tunnels amplifies range and piercing:
- Sniper Bunny — Core pick for mid-tunnel straights against tanks.
- Ninja Rabbit — Pierces entire lines on long segments; S-tier on this map.
- Goo Rabbit — Slow patches at tunnel mouths counter fast nibblers.
- Farmer Bunny — Economy for upgrades before boss and special waves.
- Boom Rabbit — Secondary AoE when carriers appear in merged tunnels.
Camo Nibblers still appear — bring detection per the enemies guide. Do not assume sniper-only teams solve every wave. Cross-reference tier list for summon priorities when carrots allow pulls.
Wave-by-Wave Deep Tunnels Tips
Waves 1–5: Establish entry bend DPS and first Farmer Bunny. Upgrade Bonker Bunny fast path for swarm nibblers. Waves 6–15: Add Sniper Bunny on the longest straight; watch for first Camo Nibblers. Waves 16–25: Nibbler Carriers need Boom Rabbit or Carrot Magician at tunnel merge points. Waves 26+: Boss prep — max DPS on mid straight, sell misplaced towers, confirm 0-leak Extreme if applicable.
Gloster and Dmer General both punish under-upgraded mid tunnels. Read boss guide for HP expectations and economy checkpoints. Special enemy combos are detailed on special enemies.
Deep Tunnels vs Woodlands
Choose Deep Tunnels when vault progress, sniper lines, or badge collection matters. Choose Woodlands when practicing AoE on forest bends without vault detours. Both maps support Extreme clears; pick based on roster strengths. Full comparison on maps overview.
