Noob to Pro — Carrot TD Progression Roadmap
A phased roadmap from your first match to consistent Extreme clears and optimal unit collection.
Last checked: June 2026
"Pro" in Carrot Tower Defense means consistent Extreme clears, a roster anchored by S-tier summons, and economy discipline — not luck on a single Ninja Rabbit pull. This roadmap splits account growth into five phases: onboarding, stabilization, collection, Extreme mastery, and endgame optimization. Each phase links to dedicated wiki guides so you never grind the wrong content. Start with how to play if you are brand new.
Phase 1 — Onboarding (Matches 1–5)
Goal: learn placement and win your first normal matches. Run Bonker Bunny + Sniper Bunny + Farmer Bunny from the early game build. Play Woodlands or Deep Tunnels on normal difficulty. Read beginner guide for bend priority and upgrade timing. Avoid summons until you understand why you lost — usually a gap leak or skipped economy. Learn controls on PC or mobile.
Phase 2 — Stabilization (Wins 5–15)
Goal: hit five wins and unlock the vault. Follow vault unlock guide: Deep Tunnels, code 1416, claim carrots and badge. Reinvest vault payout into guided summons per summon guide — target Goo Rabbit or Carrot Magician before gambling on 0.1% Ninja Rabbit. Study enemy types so camo and carriers do not surprise you on wave 12+. Join official Discord for patch timing.
Phase 3 — Collection (First S-Tier Units)
Goal: anchor your loadout with tier list winners. Use the unit tier list — Goo Rabbit for AoE/slow, Ninja Rabbit for piercing DPS, Farmer Bunny stacked for economy. Compare pulls on unit comparison and plan carrots with the summon calculator. Upgrade along correct paths on upgrade paths. Replace starter C-tier towers gradually; do not sell your only camo answer mid-run.
Phase 4 — Extreme Mastery
Goal: reliable Extreme Mode clears for 500 carrots per run. Prerequisites: at least one S-tier DPS, dual Farmer economy, camo coverage, full path seal from wave 1. Use Extreme build templates and map pick based on unit range — tunnels for Goo, Woodlands straights for Ninja. Boss prep from boss guide. One leak fails the run; treat Extreme as a skill check, not a code shortcut. No scripts — bans risk your collection progress.
Phase 5 — Endgame Optimization
Goal: maximize carrots per hour and stay ahead of balance patches. Farm Extreme on your best map; parallel normal runs if Extreme win rate drops below 50%. Track latest update for new units and nerfs. When promo codes launch, redeem immediately via how to redeem and codes hub — never trust third-party lists. Deep-dive special enemies for patch-specific counters. Mentor others using this roadmap to reinforce your own macro play.
Progression Milestones Checklist
- First normal win with starter trio
- Five wins + vault code 1416 claimed
- First A-tier or S-tier summon equipped
- First Extreme clear (500 carrots)
- Three+ S-tier units with optimized paths
- Consistent Extreme farm loop
Time and RNG Expectations
Pro progression takes days to weeks depending on playtime and summon RNG. Ninja Rabbit at 0.1% is optional luxury — Goo Rabbit alone enables Extreme for many players. Focus controllable skills: placement, economy, wave knowledge. Re-read phase guides after each major patch; Carrot TD is young and meta shifts with rabbits like those covered in all units. Carrots from economy builds beat raw playtime when summons are the bottleneck.
Daily and Weekly Habits for Pros
Efficient accounts run a simple loop: one or two Extreme attempts when S-tier loadouts are equipped, normal farming when learning new maps, and summon sessions only during favorable rotations listed on summon guide. Check codes status weekly — promo boxes may arrive without fanfare. Review boss patterns before weekly balance rumors spread on social media. Pros also maintain clean placement discipline on PC and mobile so muscle memory survives patches.
When to Stop Summoning and Start Grinding
If you own Goo Rabbit or Carrot Magician plus Farmer Bunny, shift carrots from summons to Extreme attempts. Additional summons have diminishing returns until Ninja Rabbit or future S-tier units appear. Use summon calculator to set a hard stop-loss — for example, no more than 30% of total carrots per rotation week. Vault rewards from code 1416 (vault unlock) should kickstart this transition around phase 2–3.
Follow the five phases in order, skip none, and you will outgrow "noob" lobbies faster than random summon spam. This wiki updates monthly — pair this roadmap with section guides for every Carrot TD system from codes to bosses.
